Who What Why

I'm curious and love the way new technologies combine together making our world a better place. I love to push boundaries and I am stimulated by challenges. I am goal oriented, decisive, creative, social, restless, bundle of energy and engaged.

My strength is the ability to creatively solve problems, I have a good understanding of the production pipeline, and how technologies combine together for the end result, but at the same time awareness not to let technical issues and shortcomings compromise the creative aspect, or to create limits and boundaries for myself.

I put passion in what I do, love finding new ideas, and work on projects with a strong connection in mind.

I am thrilled to work in regards of different and open mind perspectives, in a collaborative, dynamic and creative environment. Looking forward to work and grow in areas of design, animation, live-action production and visual effects. And most of all, continue to meet some of the amazing artists out there.

Skills

In the past years I developed a 3D generalist and graphic design background, achieving a good understanding of the production pipeline. I now specialize in what I consider some of the key elements of visual integration, where all technical and creative aspects come together: VFX design, motiongraphics and matchmoving.

I preferably work with paper & pencil, Photoshop, After Effects, PFTrack, 3D Studio Max and Maya, but I am familiar with several other programs and techniques as well.

Biography

I was born in Bucharest and by the age of 16 moved in Rome where I had the opportunity since high school to develop my passion for computer graphics related to art, architecture, music, cinematography and communication, during an extracurricular activity project called Suono & Immagine.

I finished my studies graduating from the Faculty of Architecture Valle Giulia Sapienza University of Rome with a degree cum laude in "Computer Graphics and Multimedia Design" working in the meantime as part-time graphic and web designer. Shortly after, I continued with a master degree in "Computer Graphics" at BigRock, Treviso.

Right now I live in Rome and work as freelancer at Direct 2 Brain on some amazing projects.
